I wonder if real prayer is communion with God and we know symbols are not necessary when you are capable of touching the presence of God within through prayer-meditation-hearing and reacting positive.
"The flesh is of no avail: the words I have spoken to you are spirit and life"
Why do we need wine as the symbolic gift of life of God coursing through our bodies? Why is bread representative of the body of Christ, representative of the divine substance.
It seems to me all we need do is recognize the formality of this religious rite, when in actuality the communion can be a spiritual experience privately conducted between us and God.

How's Your Drive?

This past week I had the privilege of attending an Abraham Group*. During the ongoing discussion, one woman was speaking of how we come to this planet with the program for our lives, and we just junk up our program with viruses from our error thought processes, from experiences learned from parents, acquaintances, work, and society in general.

Something in the way she spoke of programs and viruses made me think of computers and how our brains have been determined to be the biggest super computer available on our planet. This thought took me to thinking. . . okay so we have a master program, we obtain viruses and error messages through our experiences. Our computers have programs and experience viruses and error messages that result in the necessity of a hard boot from time to time. We are just the same, if we need a hard boot we can do it voluntarily or life, love, the universe, God or whatever you wish to call it will see to it we get a “hard boot” to set us on a different path.

This was not the first time I had heard about coming into this life with a program or a plan preset for us. The first time I had heard of this was during the 70’s in the book “Seth Speaks” by Jane Roberts, later in “Anatomy of the Soul” by Caroline Myss, “Many Lives, Many Masters” by Brian L. Weiss, “The Seat of the Soul” by Gary Zukav, “The Celestine Prophecy” by James Redfield, and from other authors including Neale Donald Walsch and Wayne Dyer. So many people, one idea, is it time for a “hard boot”?

Because we are so busy with fulfilling corporate agendas nowadays, we have a tendency to just scream at times " don't bother me I got my own problem" we complain but we do not offer a solution.
Because you are created in the image and likeness of God, you have been placed in the position to demonstrate kindness, the gentleness of a loving spirit that is truly with in you.
Do you follow that flow or are you to busy with your own plans?

Take 15 seconds a day just to say a simple prayer to the Deity you believe you serve, say "thank you" to some person who helped you, drop a dollar in that corner collection bucket to feed the hungry children.

Take the time to hear someone with your heart.

You have just created a space in the universe and the universe rushes in to fill voids...God is only Good!
