"Ooops, I did it again..."

"Live as if you like yourself, and it may happen." -- Marge Piercy

This came in an email to me a few days ago and bam!!! there it was a compliment to the thoughts mulling around in my head. I bet this happens to you too and if it doesn't, believe me it really does, you are just not ready to see it. Don't worry, you have second chances, third chances and God keeps on sending you messages until you have that BAM moment or AHA moment.

So I was thinking about all the times I had done some things which were not exactly my most shining moments and BAM!!! and AHA!!! I realized those actions were based on fear. Not exactly the "boogyman" kind of fear but fear of lack of approval, fear of not belonging, fear of not being who I really am.

Being who I really am is the hardest part. Many of us grow up being told to not do this and not do that and we think the "them" telling us are really, really mean, when in actuality they do have our best interest at heart. If we only go to "them" and talk it out the temptation leaves and we have an understanding of the why. God is like that too. If we don't turn our temptations, our problems and our fears to our creator, we dismiss the power of God and our ego says "go ahead you're a big girl or boy (as the case may be) you can handle it." Nine times out of ten, you may get away with it and when that tenth time occurs, should grace escape you, who do you turn to? If you turn to your ego, oh man, that is a mean one to turn to because ego has a very difficult time of forgiving oneself (or anyone for that matter) and even deceive you into believing the one time caught will be the only time and there is no need to change, everyone else must change to accept your way.

Gandhi has been paraphrased by so many people but the only change that can ever occur is within one's self. To bring about change one must get to the center of who they are. Most people can more easily identify who they are not. In the same light they can identify what they don't want more easily than what they truly want. Begin this week to start identifying what you truly want and say a prayer of thanks to your creator because it is already yours. Speak your truth in gratitude and watch things improve.

Blessings,

“Is the servant greater than the lord?”

Noted and Respected Unity author Emily Cady states in her book “How I used the Truth”

In the truth movement there is a widespread tendency to condemn the churches, the orthodox Christians and to speak of students in different schools of truth.”

Why?

Did not Jesus –our professed way shower—continue to teach in the synagogues?
Despite or maybe because of it all—Jesus did not content Himself with the holier then thou attitude.

We do not condemn the tallow candle or stage coach because our knowledge is now at a level of electricity and hybrid cars. We only see out of the old grows the new, the old was necessary to make the new.—but—to remain in the old ways is to hibernate, stagnate, to grow is life and life is God.—a living changing entity. Think not? lift your eyes up and see how many more stars , galaxies universes, we as a race of people, are aware of now. Even science can not find the end of it all.

as the heavens are higher then earth, so are my ways higher then your ways and my thoughts higher then your thoughts

The ultimate creator’s eternal purpose is to carry every living person towards a higher knowledge of the truth through a more perfect alignment with the universe.

Should we not turn and offer a hand to those who are just as firmly on the path to God? Compared to setting in a musky old wine skin, tossed to a top shelf out of reach of many searching eyes, slowly dripping away drop, by drop, by drop.

Now is the accepted time! As the Apostle Paul proclaimed, "now is the day of salvation"—the day to change our minds.
Now is the time to profess—to affirm—to proclaim to the universe---CAN DO—we can do---they can do---I can do.

If we hold our minds in NOW—Now we can do –affirm it heart and soul then the strength to ask HOW will flow into you so that you do manifest the How---Now!

fred

Ephesians 4: invites us to "put off concerning the former conversations, be renewed in a part of your mind and put on the new man that God has created"

I am sure for many of you standing before a mirror today after Thanksgiving eats, all the Christmas fudge and candy you realize in deed you have put on a new man! But that is not exactly what the scripture is implying.
None the less this is that time of the year when we make all those affirmations and statements known as the "New Year's Resolution". To become a New you, the new man!

All the power to you---"you go girl"--- do your thing...but..while you are at it, if you find you are wavering just a bit----you might recall God did not ask you to repeat the incident you slipped in confirming. Each effort is achieved moment by moment, only change your mind!

In fact just a part of your mind "to put on the new man", like the part you may be having trouble adjusting to by changing your ways. Down through the eons the message remains the same, "Take the resolution to prayer and meditation, then hear what you are listening to" before you act in a positive manor--- after all God wants to give you the kingdom---accept it.

Blessings,
fred

Many of you have asked us how you can support this fellowship. We have always taken the position all things come in time. Now, it is time!
On February 3rd we are moving into an even larger, newer facility in an area of greater possibilities for the presentation of truth. This new location gives us greater visibility and enables us to not only continue our homeless ministry and our women's ministry and have the space to expand our children's ministry, it opens opportunity to pursue additional community service projects. This attractive store front will allow us to safely conduct evening and weekend classes on topics to include sign language, the Oneness Blessing, Reiki, and various teachings of wayshowers.

We require chairs, sound system and some office equipment to accomplish this mission. To do this, New Day Unity Fellowship appreciates your spiritual and financial support in any amount to further this ministry. Donations may be sent by check or money order to New Day Unity Fellowship, Inc.; P.O. Box 891; Odessa, Florida 33556; or by credit card to
support our move .
