F.R.O.G. NOTES
Luke 22:46 "Father unto you I commend my spirit"
God has given us all things of this earth worthy to enjoy---having them is not wrong--being possessed by them, now that is a horse of a different color. Far to many business hiding under the disguise of "that is retail", are destroying family lives and values. A great many businesses are so enthralled by the empty impressions of power and the principalities of earth that they have lost sight of the eternal values and verities. They are in fact taking the abundance and prosperity of mother earth to build up the coffers of a few.
All those execs. that are scrambling to ensure their large bonus is nothing more than a sign of fear! Don't you buy into it, there are construction companies, chicken joints and small flower shops the world over that still profess that they have "people" working for them not profit hours. Give Caesar his due, You are a child of God!
A change is coming to be sure, it is the time the great ego has control of the business world true, but, even in the mundane world we are not far from the Kingdom-----only a prayer away. Through prayer, ways of taking care of family and friend will come to you. We only need to listen and think what is truly viable rather than what is something the retail world has deemed as a need for us.
Had I served God as diligently as I have served the false kings of society-- I realize now I should not have so many gray hairs nor lines of frustration upon my brow.....
One of the things that brings me peace of mind is the realization of my friend--- who is all ways with me.
O friend
you have been such a friend to me, I come into your presence thought stained from the world. The banners of my spirit dragging in earth-dust.
Then suddenly all this is as nothing, it does not matter any longer, For in the calm peace of Your presence the warn garment of much troubled thought slips from my shoulders. I am clothed anew in shining raiment.
